Long Weekend Bliss

Ahhhh, it's a long weekend here, 3 days of relaxation & fun, I'm feeling happy!!!!
I was determined to make the most of it & spend some time in my craft room this weekend & I got off to a flying start last night with Linda's new card challenge at Scrap Pile.
This is the card I created.
I've had this gorgeous embossed K & Co paper for years & have never used it but it was perfect for this card.
The challenge was to use a Pottery Barn ad for inspiration. It had lots of white, yellow & timber in it so I chose the colours as my inspiration.

I'm hoping to get more done over the weekend. My daughter, Chloe, is coming over so I'm sure we'll get busy with some paper together.

I wanted to share this photo of a little visitor I had to my gargen yesterday.

We have Kookaburras visit quite often & I love taking pics of them.
I consider us to be very lucky to have so much beautiful wildlife sharing our garden with us.
We have many types of birds, bandicoots, rabbits, lizards & ducks who are regularly seen in our back yard.

This is a photo of a Kingfisher that I took last Winter. I was amazed by how intense his colour was, isn't he beautiful?

I hope everyone is having a fabulous day.
Take care & have fun :)
