Sketch This # 63

I got the chance to play along with the Sketch This sketch again this week.
Here is my take on # 63.

I've used Cosmo Cricket "Hey Sugar" papers & diecuts.
Hope your week is wonderful :)

Chloe's Challenge

I was fortunate enough to enjoy another beautiful Sunday scrapping with my daughter Chloe.
It's so great that we have a shared interest & it's so much fun to spend time together doing what we love.
Chloe was chosen as a guest designer for August at Keep'n the Memories. She has a fantastic card challenge going at the moment to make a card with a journaling card on it.
So in honour of my beautiful, talented daughter I have made this card for her challenge.

I've used Making Memories papers & the cute stickers are by Imaginisce.
Thanks for the inspiration Clo :)

Sketch This #62

What a glorious day it was yesterday. The sun was shining & it was nice & warm.
My daughter & I took advantage of the beautiful weather to enjoy some scrapping together outside on the verandah.
I had a bit of fun with the new Sketch This sketch. I actually ended making 2 from it.
This first one uses all Daisy D's paper.

And the second one is Sassafrass Lass.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend too :)

Where Does the Time Go???

Oh my, I completely forgot to post the rest of my August DT cards, LOL.
This spring cleaning has become an obsession but I really do think it's had a positive affect on the weather. This past week has been nothing but glorious sunshine.

These cards all feature My Minds Eye paper. I just adore this stuff, if I had to exist with only 1 range, I'd definately choose MME. They are so versatile & a pleasure to work with.
This one also uses a gorgeous MME transparency.

I chose some Maya Road Metal Blossoms which were a lovely change from regular paper flowers. I've used them on both these cards too.

This last one is very simple but the October Afternoon rub on is so beautiful I didn't want to compete with it.

Is everyone enjoying watching the Olympics? The TV is tuned to it permanently here.
We are also having a fun Scrapping Olympics at Scrap Pile. The girls are really getting into the spirit & producing some fantastic creations.
Til next time...bye :)

Gee It's Been Awhile.....

I haven't posted for so long!!!! I've been busy with lots of different things lately, lots of organising, sorting & tossing going on around here. I was kind of hoping that if I started my spring cleaning it might trick winter into disappearing early, LOL.
Anyway, I have also been busy getting some new projects done with my DT kit for this month.
First up, I chose some WRMK paper that had a gorgeous design in the corner on one side, & 4 different patterns on the reverse side.
This card was made from the corner design. I've added some WRMK suede flowers & Lil Davis chip letters, and I've added a Kaiser rub on to them.

With the second card, I've used some gorgeous KI Memories Frosty Lace Cardstock. I've backed the butterflies with the patterns from the reverse side of the WRMK paper, added some rub ons & a Kaiser bling circle.

I'll be back soon with some more cards.
Thanks for looking :)
