It feels great to have my energy back & be in the swing of things again.
Last weekend the girls at Scrap Pile put on a fantastic cyber crop with lots of fun to be had & the gallery is filling with many beautiful creations.
This is the card I made for Leah's challenge.
The challenge was to create your own background on cardstock & incorporate the theme of the CC, which was "Stars in their Eyes".
Did I mention that I have exciting news?? LOL
Well....earlier this month, I was honoured to be chosen as the new card maker design team member at Scrap Pile. I'm soooo excited & can't wait to get started.
I adore this site, it's my second home. Card makers are beautifully catered for with monthly challenges & a dedicated card gallery. The online store is jam packed with all the latest goodies too.
That's all for today. I've been busy working on some new projects which I'll be able to show in the next few days.
Thanks for stopping by.

New Look
I was very fortunate to have a dear friend design a beautiful new blog header for me & isn't it just gorgeous. Many thanks to the very talented Leah for doing such a wonderful job.

Sorry nothing to show today. I've been battling a cold & haven't felt great.
Will be back with some new things soon.

Happy Easter
I hope everyone is having a great Easter break & are having a fun, relaxing time.
My little one is looking forward to the Easter Bunny's visit & enjoying some sweet treats tomorrow.
I have finally finished all my Easter cards, these 2 being my last.
This first one is for my teenage son. Very strict rules that no frills or pretty bits are allowed, LOL. It's a little unconventional I guess, but I knew it would be right for him so that's all that matters.
The next one is for my sweet little grand daughter.
No worries about too much prettiness with this one so I made it really pink & girly, LOL.
Happy Easter to all, drive safely & have fun.

Heart Felt Thanks
Hi again.
This is a card I've made with a challenge pack from my LSS.
The challenge is to make a card using at least 50% of the pack contents, which this month were, a piece of white felt, a length of black felt flower trim, a blue flower & a brown flower.
I've also used a few other things. The paper is from the Kaiser "Vagabond" range & the red dot is the reverse side of the blue flower paper.
I've zigzag stitched around the heart & I love how the felt behind has made it look lovely & plump.
Here's a close up look.
Thank you so much for all the lovely comments left on my first post.
I really love hearing from you all.

Here I GO !!!!
Well I've finally gotten around to joining the world of blogging.
As I'm not the most computer savvy person, this could be quite "interesting" until I get the hang of it, LOL.
I started making cards about 12 months ago & absolutely love it. I've met so many lovely people along the way too, especially the girls at Scrap Pile.
This is an Easter card I made yesterday for my daughter.
As she loves hidden surprises, I've made the centre egg so it swings open to reveal a little bunny hiding inside.
